Child Safety Standards
Last updated 17 October 2026
ghulmil has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page sets out our standards and what we do when we find or are told about it.
Who can use ghulmil
ghulmil is for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly allow anyone under 18 to have an account, and we remove accounts that we find belong to someone under 18.
What we prohibit
Anywhere on ghulmil, in profiles, activities, feed posts, photos and comments, and in how members behave when they meet, we prohibit:
- Any content that sexualises children, including child sexual abuse material of any kind.
- Grooming: contacting, befriending or manipulating a child, or someone believed to be a child, for sexual purposes.
- Sextortion, trafficking, or any other exploitation of children.
- Using ghulmil to arrange to meet a child for any harmful purpose.
- Sharing, requesting or linking to any of the above.
How to report it
In the app, tap ⋯ on a profile, activity or post, or press and hold a comment, then choose Report. Reports are confidential. You can also email support@ghulmil.app.
If a child is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number (112 in India) first. In India you can also report online child sexual abuse to the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal at cybercrime.gov.in.
What we do
- We review reports of child safety issues ahead of all others.
- We remove the content and permanently remove the accounts involved.
- We report child sexual abuse material and exploitation to the relevant authorities, as the law requires, including India's National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal and law enforcement.
- We keep the records the authorities need and cooperate with their investigations.
Child safety contact
Our designated contact for child safety, including questions from authorities, is Angshuman Roy at support@ghulmil.app.
